The Wind Analogy
The Wind Analogy
One of the simplest examples of invisible power is the wind.
No one has ever seen the wind itself. We see leaves dancing
in the trees. We watch clouds move across the sky. We observe waves forming on
the ocean. But what we actually see are the effects of the wind, not the wind
itself.
The force remains invisible while its influence becomes
visible.
Life operates in a similar way.
Many of the experiences we encounter are the visible
expressions of invisible causes. A person’s confidence, kindness, anger, or
fear may not be visible in itself, but its effects become evident through
words, actions, and relationships.
The wind teaches us an important lesson: invisible forces can
produce visible outcomes.
When a powerful storm approaches, the wind may uproot trees
and reshape landscapes. In the same way, powerful internal forces can transform
the direction of a person’s life.
The challenge is that we often focus only on the visible
effects while overlooking the invisible causes.
We see conflict but fail to notice the beliefs that created
it.
We see success but fail to recognize the mindset that sustained
it.
We see behavior but fail to understand the thoughts and
emotions behind it.
Just as sailors learn to respect the unseen power of the
wind, wise individuals learn to recognize and understand the invisible forces
operating within themselves.
